From the business perspective, Authors should consider eBooks are an emerging market and the 29% share is only increasing. Yes, everyone knows that but where at a time much like when iTunes was introduced. No one has figured out a model for eBooks. Major publishing houses are trying to maintain their profit margins but are unsure what eBooks mean for them so they are reluctant to be aggressive in this new market, if it means losing retail sales.

No one can lawfully use your photo of your sighting, although someone else may file his own photo of his sighting. Copyright law protects the original photograph, not the subject of the photograph.
